Siena basketball gets the 2012-2013 season underway on November 9 in Albany against Vermont. From that first game, the Saints will attempt to match last season's run. They lose 48% of last season's player minutes and hope to make that up with the efforts of four incoming freshmen.

The Siena defense will suffer from a 61.3% drop in blocked shots, the largest gap that the team will need to fill. Following that is steals, where they drop 48.3% from last season's numbers.
